This is a professional required course designed specifically for first-year English majors in their second semester. In this course, we’ll be focusing on building a strong foundation in writing—starting from sentence construction, then moving to paragraph writing, and finally working with complete passages. Throughout the semester, I’ll guide you through writing accurately, fluently, and with confidence.Let’s begin by getting a general idea of what this course entails.This course includes a total of 28 classroom hours. Additionally, you are expected to complete at least 12 hours of independent study outside of class. You will earn one credit upon successful completion. Let me emphasize here: the combination of classroom participation and personal effort is essential to your success in this writing course.
