Before we begin, I'd like to ask you a question: Do you think goals are important for a team, a company, or even ourselves as individuals? The answer is obviously yes. Clear goals act as beacons, guiding our progress and ensuring we stay on course. So, why set goals? And how do we set them? Let's explore these two questions throughout this presentation.Let's start with the first question: Why set goals? The importance of setting goals manifests in several aspects. I'll mainly elaborate on three dimensions:Providing Direction and Focus: In a complex and ever-changing environment, goals help us clarify our direction and concentrate our efforts. Without goals, we're like aimless flies, flailing about and ultimately achieving nothing. With clear goals, we can focus our limited resources on the most important tasks, improving efficiency.Motivation and Drive: Goals can serve as powerful motivators. When we have clear objectives, we're more likely to be engaged and committed to our work.
